Les Jardins du Petit-Laurier
The temporary development of the Jardins du Petit-Laurier, at the corner of Papineau and Laurier East streets in Montreal, transforms a former gas station into a playful and educational public space, pending the construction of future social housing. The site is organized around four uses: urban agriculture, mini-golf, picnicking, and active transportation. A shaded pavilion hosts various activities, while a yellow color palette unifies the installations and reinforces the site's identity. Conceived as a community laboratory, the site encourages interaction, relaxation, and discovery. A mural by the artist Ola Volo completes the design.
